A MESSAGE FROM ME
Hello. I’m Yuki,
the person building cotobo。
I have spent more than ten years working in Japanese language education and international cooperation, both in Japan and overseas. After becoming a parent, I started teaching Japanese online a year ago.
What surprised me was this: there is far too much work outside the lesson itself, and it is all so complicated. Schedules, client information, notes and fees were scattered across different tools.
I started building cotobo because I wanted to make that administration easier and create a better lesson experience for teachers and students alike.
I believe this problem is shared not only by Japanese teachers, but by many people who provide one-to-one services online.
cotobo is still in development, and I am looking for people who will use it in their real work and share honest feedback. I would be delighted if you joined me in making cotobo a service that truly works for your day-to-day business.
What we want to learn together。
This beta is about using cotobo properly in your everyday work and discovering together what helps and what gets in the way. You will try schedules, client information, shared notes, rates and financial management as part of your normal workflow.
The beta lasts two to three months. You can send brief notes through a dedicated form, and we will talk two or three times for about 30 minutes. We will improve cotobo from your feedback and ask you to try the changes again. Yuki will support you directly if you need help.

Who can take part?
Anyone who regularly provides one-to-one lessons, instruction or consultations online can apply, including language teachers, instructors, coaches and consultants.
Is it really free for life?
Yes. If you complete the beta, cotobo will have no base subscription fee after launch for as long as you keep using the same account.
What if I encounter a problem?
Because cotobo is still in development, some bugs or unclear parts may remain. Yuki will support you directly if you get stuck.
